Recent cases in the High Court

Murray Flynn Solicitors have significant experience in assisting members of An Garda Siochána in compensation claims*. Recent cases in the High Court include the following:

 

1. 1.  Our client sustained a broken little finger when a perpetrator resisted arrest. It was necessary for him to attend hospital, but he did not have to undergo surgery. The High Court awarded him €20,000.00 for the injury.
   2. Our client sustained dental injury when his patrol car was deliberately rammed by a perpetrator. The cost of dental repair was included in a €30,000.00 award in the High Court.
   3. Our client sustained a fracture to his dominant hand when a perpetrator resisted arrest. Once again, he did not require surgery and took approximately three months to return to work. The High Court awarded him €38,000.00.
