Murray Flynn Solicitors is proud to be an official sponsor of the first-ever Symposium for Polish Women living in Ireland, organised by the Centre for Counselling and Therapy (CKU Dublin), taking place on 7 June 2025.
This important event brings together professionals, community leaders, and women from across Ireland to engage in dialogue on empowerment, identity, and access to support — both socially and legally. As a firm committed to community engagement, diversity, and access to justice, we are honoured to contribute to this initiative.
A Voice from Within Our Team: Monika Baranowska Forrest
Our colleague, Monika Baranowska Forrest, will participate as a featured guest speaker and panellist during the symposium. As a qualified lawyer (‘prawnik’) in Poland, with a professional background in personal injury and sexual harassment litigation, Monika brings both legal insight and a deep understanding of the cultural and emotional dimensions many clients face.
In addition to her work as a legal executive, Monika is also a mother, a visual artist, and an advocate for holistic well-being. She has been living in Ireland for over 15 years and is a respected figure within the Polish community.
Monika will contribute to two key panel discussions:
- 9:30–11:45 AM – From Violence to Power, hosted by Anna Świątek
- 2:30–3:45 PM – Reaching for the Stars – Women of Different Worlds, hosted by Mariola Mastek and Katarzyna Mikołajczyk
Her contribution will reflect not only her legal expertise but also her empathetic, client-centred approach to helping individuals navigate through complex and often painful circumstances.
